Avid Traveler
“We can’t solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them”- Albert Einstein.
I’m an advocate for traveling, as I believe it opens your mind to new perspectives of the world. I am avid in my quest for cultural integration and understanding between various demographics, and have thus far collectively traveled to 14 countries in 5 different continents, them being: Australia, Belgium, France, India, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
I love to emerge in the culture of wherever I travel, and do not limit myself to solely doing “touristy” activities. I am also fond of trying new foods, and have been surprisingly impressed by cuisines I am unfamiliar with but end up greatly enjoying.

Family
I owe a great deal of where I am today, and the experiences I have gotten, to my family. Without them, I would not be the individual I currently am..

Music Enthusiast
I play the guitar, and have been playing for the past 8 years. It is a hobby I picked up as my grandfather bought one for me when I was in the 8th grade. I soon after formed a band with other classmates at the time, called XLR8 (Accelerate), and we performed at multiple school festivals, local functions and gatherings, and dinner parties. I still carry an acoustic with me in college, and frequently visit the recording studio on campus to work on a few covers, and once in a while an original.
Working Out
A believe a healthy body is key for a healthy mind. This used to be easier done up until high school as Physical Education was built into the classes we had to take. However, I have made it a routine to currently go to the gym consistently at least 4 times a week.
Teaching Assistant/Tutor
I have tutored with the Math department on campus for the past 2 years, and have been a teaching assistant for the Physics labs for the past year. I find it makes a monumental difference in understanding the material you learn when you try and teach it to someone else. This hobby and interest of mine not only benefited my understanding of a few of the core concepts of calculus and experimental Physics, but it also allowed me to work on my public speaking skills as some of the classes contained about 50 students.
GEO Ambassador
I fell in love with my Global Coop experience in the Netherlands so much so that I returned to college in Spring 2016 with the intent of being an ambassador for the Global Experience Office (GEO). This position included classroom visits to educate and motivate students about the multiple global opportunities Northeastern has to offer, and it also involved being a panelist at several parent and student orientation events. I was also chosen to be the student representative for the GEO at a Northeastern fundraiser in San Diego, California, and Los Angeles, California- interacting with over 100 attendees, conversing my experience and promoting the opportunities Northeastern has to offer.

Greatest Accomplishment
For me, the top 3 factors that signify an accomplishment are dedication, perseverance, and attitude during the struggle. My experience of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in 12th grade was the utmost test of these factors. A 7 day hike, covering an altitude of almost 6000 meters, pushed me to my limits; the toughest day being the summit, when we had to wake up at midnight and hiked with only our head-lights to guide us for 6 hours. However, I proudly proved to myself I can push myself to the limits and come out successful.
